Well, this past week was horrible for me. I worked alot and hubby worked alot, so someone had to watch the kids, so I didn’t have much Curves time this week. I did the March of Dimes March for Babies 5K walk today..hey that’s something. I probably would have tried to run it, but I had a friend with me and a stroller and 2 kids, so not too easy. I plan to have a much more productive week this week though. I may have to break out those Biggest Loser workout videos on the the days I have to watch kids.

Couch to 5 K training program
I finally decided to start the couch to 5K training program from coolrunning.com. I could probably have run more than week one said to, but I am going to start off slow like he recommends (fast walk/run combo), because it has been at least a year or just shy of it since I ran 2 miles straight. I felt good after I did it though.

I’m a woman from Newport News VA USA, born in 1974.
My goals are: Run a 1/2 Marathon
Get in shape
Finally have a hobby I enjoy
My other favorite activities include: Biking, weight/circuit training.
I enjoy running. After I complete a run, I feel so much better. I can do a 2 mile run (used to be in the Army), but now I want to train my body to complete a 5K, then work towards a 1/2 Marathon eventually. If I can do that, maybe someday complete a Full Marathon.
